What is the total investment to open a Moxie Salon & Beauty Bar?+
Total initial investment typically ranges based on market, real estate and build-out, and is detailed in Item 7 of our Franchise Disclosure Document (FDD). We recommend candidates have access to meaningful liquid capital and financing to comfortably fund pre-opening, build-out and working capital.
How much liquid capital and net worth do I need?+
Most awarded candidates have substantial liquid capital available and strong overall net worth. Our franchise development team will walk you through specific financial qualifications on your introductory call.
Do I need salon or beauty industry experience?+
No. Many of our best owners come from outside the beauty industry — hospitality, finance, retail and multi-unit franchising. What matters most is leadership, a hospitality mindset and a passion for building a premium local brand. We provide full training and ongoing operational support.
Is this an owner-operator or semi-absentee model?+
Both paths work. Some owners run day-to-day, while others operate semi-absentee with a trained General Manager after opening. Our streamlined systems and 'Share the Hair' service model are designed to support either approach.
What training and support do you provide?+
Franchisees receive comprehensive pre-opening training covering operations, stylist development, marketing, membership sales and management. After opening you get ongoing field support, marketing programs, vendor relationships and access to our proven playbooks and manuals.
How do you help with site selection and build-out?+
We assist with market planning, site selection criteria, lease review guidance, prototype design and construction standards so your Moxie feels unmistakably on-brand from day one.
What are the ongoing fees?+
Ongoing royalty and brand fund contributions are outlined in the FDD. These fees fund national brand building, technology, training resources and continuous franchisee support.
How does the membership model drive revenue?+
Client memberships create predictable, recurring revenue and deepen loyalty — a key differentiator versus a traditional salon. Combined with our retail 'Get Moxified' program and premium service menu, memberships are core to long-term unit economics.
What territories are available?+
We're actively awarding premium suburban and lifestyle-center markets across the U.S. Single-unit and multi-unit development agreements are available in qualifying markets. Tell us your target city on the inquiry form and we'll confirm availability.
How long does the process take from inquiry to opening?+
